Lawmakers of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea promised to investigate the truth and improve the employment structure of the Korea Racing Authority over an incident that a race horse groom having worked at KRA's LetsRun Park(Horse Racing Park) Busan Gyeongnam committed suicide on May 27.

The Public Service and Transport Workers' Union and the Euljiro Committee of the Democratic Party of Korea which was established to protect the subcontractors from the contractor's abuse of power said in the press briefing that suppression on the trade union and multi-tier exploitative employment structure of the Korea Racing Authority drove Park Kyung-geun, a race horse groom, to kill himself.
