The Federation of Korean Trade Unions(FKTU) made a request for a meeting with President Moon Jae-in in relation to the ongoing discussion concerning the institutional improvement of the minimum wage with a main point of the inclusion scope of minimum wage components. FKTU wanted to know if the expanded inclusion scope of minimum wage components is the thought of President Moon. FKTU is also seeking to have meetings with chairmen of both ruling and opposition parties before the Employment and Labor Subcommittee(Bill Deliberation Subcommittee) of the National Assembly will be convened on May 24.
