The Environment and Labor Committee of the National Assembly attempted to reach an agreement on the amendment bill of the Labor Standards Act in regard to the reduction of work hours, just one day before the special session of the National Assembly convenes on December 22, but it has come to nothing. The amendment bill thus can be only deliberated in the next special session of the National Assembly in February next year at the earliest, albeit it is still not quite sure.
