Some 13,000 postal workers gathered on July 22 at Seoul Plaza located in front of Seoul City Hall to call on the government to take measures to address the unabated deaths caused by the overworks in the post offices, which totaled 70 death tolls in the last five years including 12 deaths as of July for the recent one year. The rally participants demanded the increase of manpower, with the banner reading that they are not "machines".
