Some 200 tour guides working in the Southeast Asian countries organized themselves to protect their rights and interests from the exploitation of the travel agencies and to secure the employment stability and fair treatment on June 30. The union is targeting about 10,000 tour guides active in the Southeast Asia to organize under the trade union umbrella.
