Tens of thousands of public sector workers gathered at a talk concert to hear about the labor policies from presidential candidates nominated by political parties in a bid for the upcoming presidential election on May 9.

Among presidential candidates, Rep. Sim Sang-jung of Justice Party and Kim Sun-dong of People's United Party delivered their views directly to the audience, whereas two front runners in the presidential election race, Rep. Moon Jae-in of Democratic Party of Korea talked over the phone live and Rep. Ahn Cheol-soo of People's Party sent a prerecorded video to the event.

Workers gathered at the talk concert chanted a slogan, "We want a nation where people are happy, safe and participatory."
