Nine Business tycoons of major conglomerates who donated tens of billions(Korean won) to the Mir and K-Sports foundations controlled by President Park Geun-hye's confidante Choi Soon-sil denied in unison the allegations of their seeking business favors in return, but they hinted the strong-arming from President Park Geun-hye.

Lawmakers of the ruling and opposition parties alike denounced the conglomerates as the accomplices of the Park Geun-hye & Choi Soon-sil scandal and called for the disbandment of the Federation of Korean Industries(FKI), the lobby arm for the conglomerates.
