The National Assembly on November 30 began a special inquiry committee by holding its first hearing with the attendance of witnesses from the governmental institutions.

However, the hearing was once adjourned by the strong intervention of opposition lawmakers who complained the problem that Prosecutor General did not appear as a witness.

The third public speech by President Park Geun-hye seemed to have affected the schedule of impeachment motion vote, as some lawmakers of anti-Park faction of the ruling Saenuri Party got confused by the tactics of President Park Geun-hye regarding her resignation.

Three opposition parties resolved to put the impeachment motion vote against President Park Geun-hye on the National Assembly are reportedly delaying the originally planned date of December 2 to a newly adjusted date of December 9 to get enough supporting votes from the anti-Park faction of the ruling Saenuri Party for its passage.
