Floor leaders of three opposition parties, the Minjoo(Democratic) Party of Korea, People's Party and Justice Party, announced a joint proposal statement to settle the prolonged railway labor dispute.

Two standing parliamentary committees, the Committee of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Committee of Environment and Labor also promised the follow-up measures in a press conference held on November 22. It was proposed that if the KRWU suspends the walkout, the committees will form a fact-finding mission to investigate the illicit behaviors of the government and the Korea Railroad Corporation and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The KRWU is expected to come to a conclusion on the dispute settlement proposal by the two parliamentary standing committees to change its position and struggle strategy within this week.
