According to the information released by the ruling Saenuri Party lawmaker Moon Jin-kook belonging to the environment and labor committee of the national assembly, 95% of fatalities in 30 companies of the major industrial sectors were workers employed by the subcontractors last year.

The statistics on the industrial accidents of 30 companies of major industrial sectors for the past 5 years between 2011 to 2015 were released by the ministry of employment and labor at the request of the lawmaker Moon Jin-kook as below:
